Final Sprint


 LOD 10 year anniversary, 10 Sexy dudes, and we are in week 10 of Fantasy Football. We are in the final sprint. We are going to see a rival game every week until the end of the season with the first one being Bryan Vs Rob. Kind of wish it worked out for Thanksgiving weekend for this matchup because of Bryan being a Pilgrim and Rob taking his land. 

    Anyways, I am going to take this opportunity to officially declare Ant and Nauch officially eliminated from playoff contention and will no longer be mentioned in rankings and will only be mentioned in blogs when it comes to matchups and if they play upset to somebody or having to do with pickems. SPEAKING OF PICKEMS DO YOUR PICKEMS. 

    Ant, it was a nice try this year. You had the most hurt team again, so I do not know who you need to make peace with but this happens all the time to you. You also tied the record for longest start to a season without a win and also now have took over the worst record of all time in the sleeper era with a record of 37-54. However, you do have a title in the sleeper era which many people do not have. At least we get keepers back next year and you have a few good ones to choose from.

    Nauch, I think this was just karma for missing the anniversary draft and frankly Hurtado drafting your team. Malik Nabers and Hampton getting hurt obviously sucks. However, the Pats are great, Drake Maye is the truth and you got that to look forward too. Frauch will make a return and maybe upset some teams along the way, but better luck next year. 


        Alright, lets get down to the Elite 8 and see where everyone stands. 

1. Chuck - 

    Currently on a 6 game win streak and continues it in dominant fashion. The addition of Brock Bowers has proved to be a big one as he dropped 45.3 in his first game back and should continue to dominate in the Raiders offense down the stretch. This team has built some depth and is looking great as they look forward to the playoffs. 

2. Gio - 

    Gio with another dominating performance as the projection whore continues to climb his way up the Republican polls. This team has built some depth and has playoffs to look forward too as he is the only team over 1600 PF and has a real shot to break the points record for a season this year. He has a debate with the Nixon Administration this weekend to reach the top. 

3. Ryan - 

    I think this is your first time in the Top 3 this season so congrats! You are on a 5 game win streak and you got a date with the pig curse. You are on a nice 5 game win streak of your own and quietly continue to make a name for yourself. Everyone talking Gio this, Chuck that, SoundCloud's retarded, Erik has a small penis and Wings is a lesbian but nobody is talking about the great season Ryan is having. JJ, Waddle and Ladd might honestly be the most dangerous trio of receivers in LOD right now. Herby continue to have a great year as well so this team is definitely one to look out for. 

4. Soundcloud - 

    Somehow you keep winning. You have had 2 pop off weeks in week 1 and week 5. Other than that its been a bunch of mid or low scoring weeks. However you are at the top of the division, but these next 4 weeks are tough for you with facing Gio, Ryan, Rob and Erik. To be honestly you can not afford a loss and fall into the 6th hole. Rob is only 33 points behind you with 5 weeks left and Wings only 47. Time to see if this Rookie is all in or was it all just a dream. 

5. Erik - 

    Erik man sorry I had to whoop your ass like that. Even with Rome 0 dunze showing out like that. JT had a humbling week finally. This team is interesting because it has explosive players but minimal depth. Pickens and Amon ra will eat. JT and Cook should eat. McBride solid. However, big gaps to fill in your flex positions and Qb. Tracy who you spent $71 fab dollars on is splitting work and not even really the starter. Bam Knight splitting work in what is a weak backfield and pass first offense. Scary Terry is not so scary since he does not really play. You do not have CMC to carry you this year. If you really want another title it is time to make some moves. 

6. Bryan - 

    You have now dropped 2 in a row and now have to face your rival in Rob with no Chase, no Pookie, No Ferguson in what is honestly a must win game with Wings on your ass. Kraft is out for the season and its looking like the Joe Mixon hold did not pay off as he is not expected to play at all this season. You need some magic this week as while you get almost a guaranteed win next week against Ant, you end the season against Chuck, Wings then Ryan. 

7. Wings - 

    Sneaky bastard is on a quiet 3 game win streak after all had looked lost for the current champ. Wings definitely benefited the most from the NFL trade deadline with Shaheed getting delt to Seattle looks like some potential deep bombs to help out with JSN getting a little bit of rest. Josh Allen returned to glory and had a great game against the Chiefs. You are already talking shit about how you are going to beat Ant and then beat me next week. Well, I am going to call it now. Ant is dropping 200+ points this week and is going to beat your ass lmaoo. 

8. Rob - 

    Rob, this is where you shine. You got Lamar action Jackson back. You are fresh off your dirty thirty and reloaded for a playoff run. Believe it or not these mfs are scared of you. By these mfs I mean Soundcloud, Ryan, Wings, and Bryan. You are either ahead or behind by the most 70 points with 5 weeks to go. I think you find a way we usually get 1-2 rob blow out weeks a year and we have yet to see it. I think you got a great shot to get in. 


I think we get a crazy end so here are a few Wild predictions. ( My thought out and researched predictions will come next weeks blog)


1. Chuck and Gio will win their divisions and earn their bye weeks. ( not as wild just had to talk shit)

2. Erik will finish as the 3rd seed because of being 2nd in PF to Gio. ( Also not as bold just interesting)

3. Ryan and Bryan will both make playoffs as the 4th and 5th seeds because of Soundcloud losing to Nauch in week 14 which will eliminate SoundCloud from the playoffs. 

4. Ryan, Bryan And Wings will all finish with the same record.

4. Wings will lose to Erik in week 14  which will give him the same record as Ryan and Bryan which will cause him to miss the playoffs by 1 point as Rob will sneak in as the 6th seed by 1 point over Wings.

10 Year anniversary

                                            Season NEIN Champion      Gentleman, it is the official start of the LOD Season. We draft on August 16th, 2025 with an expected arrival of every LOD member in Las Vegas on the day of August 15th, 2025. The end of the first ever LOD Draft Weekend will end on August 17th, 2025. There is not a better way to start the 10 year anniversary of LOD then this. Plus it got a little bit sweeter!     This year we say goodbye to Joe as he will be the 4th fallen member of leaving the prestigious LOD league. Midseason Review

El Commish is back from a blog hiatus at the request of Chuck to take a look at the state of our Ten teams and weed out the contenders versus who is probably audi 5 thou. Cover pic unrelated. Entering Week 8, playoffs become something to either prepare for or make last ditch efforts to get yourself into contention. Or, if you're really bad, find new ways to check out of the season and start selling pieces off to the guy at your apartment 3 times a week. I've tiered the teams out based on contenders, hopefuls, dark horses and gone fishin'. Along with that, a quick write-up on how their season has fared. No particular order outside of that.
