Heading into week 3

Gentleman, welcome back to another edition of the blog as always my name is Blogger Boy Chuck and boy did we have a wild week 2. We saw the rookie bust out his first GG of his career and boy did it work out as he beat the current champ and his brother in the first showdown of the Wing$cloud bowl. Also heard from a source while wings was crashing out in this matchup he also lost another matchup by .6, brutal week for the commish. We also saw a few trades go down this week that we will get to in a separate blog for tomorrow.

The Pickems is also heating up a bit as we saw another person forgot to do them. First it was Rob and now it was wings. Remember to do your pickems gentleman. Lets get down to why yall are really here, the power rankings heading into week 3! Also remember power rankings are based on the performances from week 2 and rosters from that week not anything that has happened this week.

1. Bryan +1 (last week 2)

Player of the week - Jamaar Chase 14 catches 165 yards 1 TD

They called me crazy when I kept you at 2. Bryan asked for his respect this year and got it. You are off to a 2-0 start, you have two great running backs, some solid receivers and a little bit of depth. Is this a fluke or is Bryan proving to the league that he is really him? Obviously you got a little bit of concern now with this Jayden Daniels injury, but as of now you are top chef.

2. Gio +3 (last week 5)

    Player of the week - Brandon Aubrey 4/4 FG 2 40yrds, 1 50yrd, 1 60yrd and 4 XP.

Single Gio is back and is dominating again. Highest PF in the league to start the season and is seeing his duo of Achane and Bijan shine. Hes not 1 because of concerns of consistent volume from players. Like JSN having a 40 percent target share is nuts and will not last and if it does he might finish as WR1. Conner is starting to show his age a little bit. Then some players that I need to see more consistency from. However, you now added Drake London to this squad which I will get to in a bit. Big things coming from Gio, after missing playoffs last year this man is on a revenge tour.

3.  Soundcloud +3 (last week 6)

Player of the week - Pookie Williams 130 all purpose yards and 1 TD

Soundcloud, you continue to defeat expectations and start out 2-0. You snuck away with one this week against wings but things continue to look up as you continue to wheel and deal. Baker Mayfield continues to have 4th quarter comebacks and Pookie continues to shine. You had a bad week from Henry and now Egbuka has a injury luckily you have Deebo on your bench who is off to a great start on the year as well. However you start out 2-0 then you trade away 3 starters. I do not know if there is a method to your madness, but lets see if you will continue to prove people wrong.

4. Wings -1 (last week 3)

Player of the week - Puka Nacua 1 carry 45 yard TD, 8 catches 91 yards TD

What a tough week for you, getting GG'd by your own flesh and blood. Then it also working to lose by .1 is insane. I know you went to Church that same night to relax from the evil thoughts. You saw a dud from Josh Allen compared to week 1 and Breece Hall. AJ brown continues to disappoint and Ladd has not quite broke out yet. There should be no reason to panic with this team as again we are only in week 3 of a long season. Only concern here is I think the Keon Coleman tinkering you are gonna do every week might not work out as often as you think it will.

5. Erik +3 (last week 8)

Player of the week - Jared Goff 334 yards passing and 5 TDs

This team is boom or bust. The Goff and St brown connection looked great, JT is off to an insane start, Cook is cooking after getting paid. However 4 players making up 176 points is not going to happen every week, but this team has shown its potential. Outside of those top 4 there are a ton of concerns for this squad. However, I will not ignore the first 200 point game of the season and will put some respect on it.

6. Chuck -5 (last week 1)

Player of the week - CMC 107 all purpose yards and a TD

The first week went great, the second week did not. I did not want to drop myself down this low after one bad week, but Mike Evans, Sutton and MHJ are off to concerning starts. Do I expect them to pick it up yes I do. Mahomes and Kelce duo continues to look great. Some additions to the squad in Gibbs and Bucky will make their debut this week. We shall see what happens.

7. Ryan -3 (last week 4)

Player of the week - Justin Herbert 242 passing yards 31 rushing yards 2 TDs

Ryan, another tough week, but you came away with your first win of the season. The talent is here for this squad, but nobody is showing up. BTJ, Chase brown, JJ are all off to horrific starts. You have the lowest PF in the league and the second lowest PA. I feel like you can definitely wait on this squad, however if nothing changes in the next couple weeks performance wise, you should start to panic.

8. Rob -1 ( last week 7)

Player of the week - Davante Adams 6 catches 106 yards 1 TD

Rob, you had a great week. You usually have a few of these a season and show the potential that always keeps the rob hype train going. However, because you are 0-2 you had to drop but at least you are the best of the 0-2 teams. Lets see if we can get the CHOO CHOO going in the rob hype train this week.

9. Ant no change

Player of the week - Ceedee Lamb 9 catches 112 yards

Ant, you have curse of injured players. You now have Kittle, Joe Burrow and Aaron jones on IR. Please do not start Quentin Johnston or Ryan and Rob might actually kill you. There is still upside with this squad until they inevitably go down with an injury. I hope the best for you.

10. Nauch no change.

Player of the week - Malik Nabers 9 catches 163 yards 2 TDs

Nauch, I will say it. I do not think this team is bad. I do think you will find a way out of an 0-2 start and frauch your way into the playoffs somehow. I have nothing to say about this team, you have some new additions this week after trading away Gibbs.
